The objectives of the study include analyzing the features of electronic stores in contrast to traditional retail outlets, investigating various types of electronic stores—such as those that sell products and services, digital goods, and subscription models—and assessing the relevant legal framework governing them. It also aims to differentiate electronic stores from other types of websites and offers suggestions for enhancing warranty policies and safeguarding rights in electronic transactions. Utilizing a descriptive-analytical methodology, the study evaluates the legal dimensions associated with electronic stores and proposes recommendations to strengthen legal frameworks and improve consumer protection. The findings of the study indicate that numerous countries have legal deficiencies related to the regulation of electronic stores. Many nations still do not have precise and explicit laws that govern this form of commerce, highlighting the need for new legislation to align with the expansion of e-commerce. Additionally, the study affirms that there are notable distinctions between electronic stores and other types of websites, and these distinctions influence the nature of commercial transactions as well as the rights and responsibilities that emerge from them. This situation calls for increased awareness among both consumers and merchants regarding their interactions with these platforms.
