This research seeks to emphasize the crucial role of educational planning in fostering sustainable development, particularly highlighting initiatives undertaken in Saudi Arabia. Utilizing a descriptive-analytical methodology, the study observes and evaluates the educational policies that have been implemented and their contributions toward achieving sustainable development objectives. It explores the notion of educational planning and its importance in enhancing educational quality, while also reviewing the legal frameworks and strategies established in Saudi Arabia aimed at attaining comprehensive and sustainable development. Additionally, the research investigates the obstacles encountered in these endeavors, including issues such as limited resources and the necessity for advancements in educational infrastructure. The findings indicate that considerable strides are being made to bolster the contribution of education to sustainable development. Nonetheless, there is a pressing need to enhance collaboration among pertinent entities and to allocate additional resources and technical assistance to realize the intended goals. The study advocates for improved cooperation between governmental bodies and educational institutions to synchronize efforts and execute effective strategies, alongside the provision of essential financial and technical support to educational establishments, especially in remote regions, to upgrade infrastructure and elevate educational quality. Furthermore, it underscores the significance of promoting the integration of modern technology in education to more effectively achieve sustainable development objectives, as well as encouraging ongoing training programs for educational professionals to better equip them in addressing the increasing challenges within the educational landscape.
