This chapter aims to reveal the role of technology in preserving indigenous cultures and languages, which are increasingly at risk due to globalization and advancements in technology. Indigenous languages serve not only as means of communication but are also vital channels for maintaining cultural heritage, national identity and collective memory. The extinction of these languages can lead to the erosion of cultural traditions and, consequently, the societies that uphold them. Therefore, this study employs a qualitative research design utilizing descriptive and analytical methods to explore how technological innovations, including digital platforms, language-learning apps and artificial intelligence, can support the documentation, teaching and revitalization of endangered languages. It systematically reviews existing research and case studies to provide a comprehensive overview of technology’s impact on the preservation of indigenous languages. The study critically evaluates the achievements and obstacles faced by current technological initiatives and offers actionable recommendations to improve their effectiveness. The findings emphasize the need for strategic policies that position technology as a means to enhance language diversity and empower marginalized communities through cultural resilience.
