Its objective is to analyze the penalties applied for patent infringement, encompassing both primary and ancillary penalties, while also comparing various legal systems across Arab countries. Furthermore, the study aims to elucidate the significance of patents as a protective measure for technological and creative innovations, outlining the rights granted to inventors, including legal safeguards against infringement. It also investigates the legal repercussions that can arise from violating patent rights, detailing both criminal and civil penalties imposed on individuals and corporations that breach these rights. A descriptive-analytical approach was employed to gather and analyze legal and legislative information regarding patents in Arab countries, concentrating on the relevant laws and penalties. The findings revealed that penalties for patent infringement comprise a range of original and ancillary penalties designed to protect inventors’ rights and ensure effective enforcement of the law. Additionally, the results highlighted that patent legislation across Arab countries differs in terms of penalty specifics and enforcement procedures, which influences how infringement cases are managed. The study advocates for improved coordination among Arab nations to harmonize patent-related laws, thereby enhancing rights protection and streamlining the legal processes concerning infringement of these rights.
