Resistance to technology adoption in education is a prevalent challenge, often rooted in psychological barriers such as fear of change, anxiety, and lack of confidence. These barriers can be exacerbated by educators’ feelings of incapability, especially if they have not kept pace with technological advancements or participated in ongoing professional development. This study explores the psychological factors contributing to resistance among educators, analyzing the dynamics of fatigue, forgetfulness, and the overwhelming nature of high-stakes educational environments. Through a qualitative research design, the study employs a descriptive approach to systematically review related literature and an analytical approach to examine underlying causes and potential strategies for overcoming resistance. The findings highlight the importance of providing supportive learning environments and tailored training sessions that alleviate apprehension and encourage positive attitudes towards technology integration. Ultimately, the study offers insights into creating a culture that promotes effective technology adoption in educational settings.
