Beyond Password’s: Context Aware Behavioral Biometrics for Continuous Authentication
摘要
Amidst the rising tide of cyber threats, traditional static authentication methods, encompassing passwords and unvarying biometrics, lay bare their vulnerabilities. Their proneness to breaches and inability to ensure seamless user experiences illuminate the pressing demand for innovative strategies. Unlike static authentication, which verifies users solely at the outset of a session, continuous authentication operates in real time, actively monitoring users throughout their interactions. Unveiling a paradigm shift in authentication: “Beyond Passwords: Context-Aware Behavioral Biometrics for Continuous Authentication.” This research introduces an innovative framework that intricately intertwines user behavioral patterns with dynamic contextual cues, propelling authentication to new frontiers. By seamlessly harmonizing behavioral biometrics within the fabric of real- time context, the framework not only fortifies security but also enriches seamless user experience. This study's contribution lies in its novel approach, bridging gaps in authentication paradigms and forging a comprehensive user verification model that redefines the synergy between behavior and context. The framework's adaptability to diverse user behaviors, its robustness in detecting anomalies, and its incorporation of privacy-preserving practices stand as pillars that solidify its role as the torchbearer of the future of authentication.
