The purpose of this research is to examine the legal and economic framework that governs the activities of foreign technology companies and assess their impact on the national economy. The study investigates the primary sectors of interest for these companies, such as finance, banking, insurance, and construction, taking into account the legal, economic, and internal factors that influence their decisions in both their home countries and the host country. Through a descriptive-analytical approach, the study aims to provide insights into the legal and economic consequences of foreign companies operating in Jordan, while also comparing the legislation in Jordan and Egypt to identify any similarities and differences. Furthermore, the study seeks to offer recommendations for enhancing the investment environment and maximizing the benefits derived from the presence of foreign companies in supporting the national economy. The findings indicate that foreign companies play a significant role in boosting the Jordanian economy through their investments. However, the study suggests the implementation of additional regulations and constraints to strike a balance between attracting foreign investment and safeguarding domestic companies. Additionally, the research examines the impact of digital transformation on these sectors and its influence on the operational efficiency and attractiveness of foreign companies, highlighting the potential of digitization to further enhance economic contributions and improve the investment climate.
