General Approach and Imaging in Ocular Trauma
摘要
Patients with multiple system injuries should be evaluated in terms of their general condition and other life-threatening problems. The ocular trauma is focused on after any necessary consultations with other specialists. During these evaluations, the correct approach is to cover the eye with a clean bandage and avoid applying pressure to the eye area to avoid any additional trauma. The type, time, and location of the trauma should be noted. Pediatric traumas should always be assessed for the possibility of child abuse. Information about systemic diseases, medications used, allergy history, tetanus vaccination, and past surgeries should be obtained.
