This section of the book seeks to highlight some of the most outstanding research in the field of neuropsychology, clinical, and health psychology based on the necessities of Latin American people. One of them is adolescence and the other one is older adulthood, specifically with Alzheimer’s disease. Both are populations most often underestimated and understudied, but in developing countries, where social, gender, racial, ethnic, and territorial inequalities are so strong, may represent a greater risk and vulnerability. In view of the foregoing, the main purpose of this section is to illustrate the variety and diversity of research in life cycles and to give an account of the most representative trends and topics in clinical, health, and neuropsychology in Latin America. Also, this section seeks to highlight and disseminate the multiple contributions and meaningful developments in research in these areas.
