This study examines the trends in scientific research utilizing Generative AI models, focusing on their advantages and disadvantages in scientific research. It aims to understand basic concepts, applications, drivers of generative models, and challenges faced by these models. The research is based on a comprehensive inventory of studies from November 2022 to February 2024. It tries to establish a clear framework for regulating reliance on Generative AI Models to address the need for the Arab Research School to conduct additional research on these models, the study found that studies are interested in the ethical aspects of the use of generative models in scientific research as well as the emergence of analytical studies.
