Evaluating the Transition from Traditional to Platform-Based MRO Business Model in the Aviation Industry
摘要
This study explores the transition from the classic maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) business model to a platform-based model in the aviation industry. It examines the potential benefits, challenges, and implications of this shift, focusing on financial and operational aspects. The research highlights the differences between the two models and discusses the advantages of the platform-based approach, such as improved efficiency, reduced costs, enhanced service quality, and increased collaboration. The study proposes a structured decision-making framework that incorporates multicriteria analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate the feasibility of the platform-based model in a specific organizational context.
