This study investigates how corporate power dynamics impact employee well-being, focusing on the immediate effects of power inequalities on both psychological and physical health. Utilizing a case study methodology, the research examines two companies where employees provided comprehensive insights into job satisfaction, stress level, and perceived autonomy within corporate hierarchies. The findings reveal strong correlations between negative power dynamics and various aspects of employee well-being. Employees frequently reported feelings of entanglement and powerlessness, likening their experiences to modern-day slavery, where economic necessity compels compliance with oppressive corporate practices. The study underscores that egalitarian corporate structures significantly enhance employee well-being, highlighting an urgent need for policy reforms to address and reduce power imbalances in the workplace.

摘要

In contemporary corporate settings, corporate slavery manifests as the exploitation of employees through extreme control, excessive demands, and restricted autonomy.
