Margarete Ebner (1291–1351), a Dominican nun from Maria Medingen, was a central figure in late medieval mysticism. Her Revelations document the visions and spiritual struggles that she experienced over decades, and which were marked by Eucharistic devotion and meditation on Christ. This work along with her correspondence with Heinrich of Nördlingen highlights her role as a spiritual authority.
