“Implicit” and “Explicit” in the Pirelli Internal CSR Narrative
摘要
The chapter begins with a review of the meaning and dynamics of CSR and shows that Pirelli’s CSR has, to a large extent, conformed to the explicit CSR model. Indeed, corporate communication, particularly internal communication, has enabled the company’s CSR to be legitimized with respect to one of its most important stakeholders: employees. Second, the text outlines the main findings of the book, beginning with the presentation of the results of the analysis conducted on the content of the corporate magazine. Next, the cause-and-effect relationship linking corporate community development to corporate communication was pointed out. Finally, the stages in which the transition from esprit de corps type community to brand community was realized were identified.
