Integrative Approach in Cardiovascular Disease
摘要
This chapter discusses the importance of a comprehensive approach to cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention and treatment, emphasizing the significant impact of modifiable risk factors. It reviews the current evidence and recommendations for physical activity (PA), meditation and mindfulness, and nutrition for optimal cardiometabolic health. These low-cost, low-risk interventions can greatly reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular mortality, and highlight the need for programs to promote adoption of these interventions among high-risk individuals.
