This research explores a transition from realistic to digital experiences in interactive animation, utilizing mixed-methods and interdisciplinary approach that combines interactive questionnaires, grounded theory interviews, and stratigraphic chronologies. The study analyzes the effects of media ecology and technology using visual scripting in Unity 3D for interactive questionnaire, and MySQL for data analysis which highlights the importance of interaction and interference, integrating user behavior data from Unity C# applications into PHP and databases. Qualitative data is analyzed with QualCoder, and media development timelines are visualized. The research underscores the characteristic for interaction with interference, and introduces the ‘media-tech soil’ framework to bridge scientific and humanistic cultures, enhancing evaluations of human engagement with technology and promoting cultural reflection on art and tech through scientific aesthetics. The study focused on ontological extension of animation and potential impact via interactive animation on media ecology and cultural spectacle in the digital era.
