Understanding and interacting with the spatial components of our surroundings is made easier by spatial ability, which is an essential component of human cognition [1]. With the popularity of digital technologies growing, especially virtual reality (VR) gaming, it is crucial to comprehend how gaming affects spatial skills. Some shreds of evidence support that traditional games can help in building spatial ability but at the same time the newly evolved VR games are interactive and can support the mechanism equally. The aim of the study was to investigate this inter section, this study compares the spatial abilities of traditional and Virtual reality gamers among the age group of 18 to 35. The quasi-experimental study, with the ex-facto expose was used for the study. The data was collected by circulating an online questionnaire through Google Forms, informed consent was taken from every participant. The results were found that traditional and VR gamers differ significantly in their spatial ability, with VR gamers having better spatial abilities.
