摘要
With the wider variety of written resources in mediaevalmediaeval and Renaissance times, looking at these gives us a far better opportunity to see more clearly a detailed range of caregiving situations than has been possible so far. It’s obvious that there is greater and more accessible recording of a social awareness and recognition not only of giving care itself, but also a recognition of the assistance given to informal caregivers such as neighbours.
