Banki-Michell Hydroelectric Impulse Turbines (BMHIT), A Theoretical Hydrodynamic Analysis
摘要
Again, the reader should possess a somewhat elementary understanding of the Principles of Fluid Mechanics, i.e., the principles of conservation of mass, energy, the quantities of movements, the momentums of the quantities of movements, and energy degradation, to properly understand Banki-Michell Hydraulic Turbine (BMHIT) projects. These principles will allow the reader to establish mathematical expressions for the specific work, the internal theoretical power, and the flow transfers to the BMHIT rotor, and to determine the corresponding mathematics to express the maximized theoretical internal performance, the velocity ratios, and the angles of the velocity triangles.
