The mango, a fruit with significant global economic value, is a member of the Mangifera indica L. species and, as such, is susceptible to a number of diseases, the severity of which has been linked to variations in climate. Changes in temperature, precipitation patterns, and humidity in many situations promote the growth of pathogens, which exacerbates the symptoms of diseases including bacterial canker, powdery mildew, anthracnose, and mango sudden death syndrome. Mango yields and quality are impacted by these climate-driven changes, which presents challenges for both farmers and researchers. The chapter examines the complex relationships between climate change and mango diseases, how these relationships affect conventional management approaches, and the need for adaptable and sustainable solutions. To be more precise, it emphasizes how eco-friendly methods can be integrated with conventional ones by using cultural practices that are appropriate for the area, biological control agents, and resistant cultivars. We also discuss the latest methods of detection and surveillance that employ technologies for climate forecasting to anticipate disease outbreaks. This chapter offers an overview of the existing frameworks for managing diseases sustainably by presenting integrated disease management techniques that combine the newest technologies with agronomic approaches. We present case studies of effective initiatives that lessen the adverse effects of climatic variability on the production of mangoes in mango-producing areas. With a stronger emphasis on sustainable practices, this chapter aims to give stakeholders practical knowledge on how the mango industry is adapting to climate change.
