Robotic technology has infiltrated into nearly every surgical domain over the past two decades, and cardiac surgery is no exception. The addition of surgical robotic systems offers a minimally invasive option which has the potential to improve clinical outcomes in addition to patient recovery. This chapter will outline robotic-assisted coronary bypass and robotic intracardiac procedures.
