The incidence of revisional surgery is increasing annually. Introduction of the da Vinci robotic platform, specifically the third-generation Xi system, has allowed for a higher volume of complex revisional procedures in both the general foregut and bariatric surgery fields. Careful patient selection, preoperative workup, and planning are crucial for all cases and should be tailored to the individual patient. This chapter is divided into two main sections, the first specific to revisional foregut procedures and the second to revisional bariatric surgery.
