This chapter outlines the approach to diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents with migraine. It discusses a systematic approach to history taking, recognizing different childhood periodic syndromes associated with migraine, and new evidence-based acute and preventive treatment strategies for children and adolescents with migraine. There are new US FDA-approved devices for the acute treatment of headaches in children and adolescents with migraine, which has been highlighted in this chapter.
