Established Oral and Newer Preventive Treatments
摘要
A comprehensive approach to migraine treatment is essential. Preventive medications have the potential to decrease frequency, intensity, and disability in patients. Individualizing treatment is essential to avoid compliance-related issues, either with tolerability or lack of efficacy concerns. An in-depth understanding of pharmacology and potential drug-drug or even drug-disease interactions is important not only for traditional agents but also for newer more migraine-specific agents.
