The cutting of high-strength steel materials is currently mainly carried out by means of the cost- and time-intensive laser cutting. This article deals with an alternative, the hot shear cutting of high-strength steel materials such as 50CrMo4 and C75. The results of the investigations carried out show an improvement in the cutting quality with a simultaneous reduction in the cutting force and the cutting impact through a defined temperature management in combination with mechanical trimming.

摘要

The cutting of high-strength steel materials is currently mainly carried out by means of the cost- and time-intensive laser cutting. This article deals with an alternative, the hot shear cutting of high-strength steel materials such as 50CrMo4 and C75. The results of the investigations carried out show an improvement in the cutting quality with a simultaneous reduction in the cutting force and the cutting impact through a defined temperature management in combination with mechanical trimming.
