It is often assumed incorrectly that all radiologists have little to no patient interaction and, in some cases, that could not be further from the truth. This chapter focuses on various exchanges radiologists have with patients, other healthcare workers, and the general public. With the rise of healthcare professionals on social media, more radiologists are stepping out of the darkroom and into the spotlight. I will share my personal success with my popular breast health social media platform, @theboobiedocs, and tips for anyone considering social media.
