This chapter develops the Critical Cosmopolitan Care (CCC) approach as an alternative framework for the political theory of migration. Epistemologically, it advances critical cosmopolitanism to overcome state-centred and sedentary modes of analysis. Normatively, it integrates feminist ethics and politics of care, foregrounding vulnerability, relationality, and interdependence. The chapter demonstrates how the CCC approach simultaneously transcends methodological nationalism and the host standpoint, enabling an analysis of migration that extends beyond admission, borders, and citizenship. Through applications to transit migration, climate-related displacement, and global care chains, it shows that CCC offers both critical diagnosis and normative: guidance for addressing structural injustice in migration governance.

摘要
