The treatment of chemical synthesis pharmaceutical wastewater from a pharmaceutical plant was studied using the LSP-MBR combined process, with the effluent water quality reaching the Chemical Synthesis Pharmaceutical Industrial Wastewater Pollutant Discharge Standard. The membrane component used as the main unit of the MBR process was a PVDF/PVP flat membrane made by the non-solvent phase separation method. The changes in the pore size and porosity of the PVDF/PVP flat membrane was examined, the reasons for increased membrane fouling and decreased membrane flux were explored, and the cycle of membrane cleaning was determined.
