In order to improve the level of green construction in urban dense areas, green highway construction is carried out relying on the Nanzhong expressway. Implement the concept of green development into the whole process of highway design, construction and operation. The highway comprehensively develops and applies resource-intensive conservation, intelligent construction, quality engineering construction, and green highway technology to reduce the overall carbon emissions of highway construction, improve the capacity of highway greening and carbon fixation, and provide a reference for the sustainable development of other highly urbanized regions.
