In response to a certain cyanide containing wastewater, based on the principles of good cyanide removal effect, simple process flow, and low reagent cost, with the goal of reducing Fe, free cyanide, and total cyanide, and considering various technologies comprehensively, the iron salt precipitation method with relatively low reagent cost and good cyanide removal effect was selected. The Fe, free cyanide, and total cyanide concentrations in this wastewater were successfully reduced to 22.35mg/L, 15.42mg/L, and 78.86mg/L, respectively, achieving the expected goals.
