Application of Photoelectric Method in Purifying Efficiency Test of Iodine Adsorber in Nuclear Power Plant

Based on the theory that non-methylated iodine replaces traditional radioactive methyliodine in the efficiency test of iodine adsorber in nuclear power plant, a non-methylated iodine tester is developed with high-precision photoelectric sensor as the main component. By comparing with the traditional radioactive test method, the advantages of the non-radioactive test method were verified, and combined with the comparison data between the field work and the traditional radioactive methyl iodine test method, the improvement direction was provided for the new efficiency test of iodine adsorbers in nuclear power plants.
