Case Studies in Structural RAC
摘要
This chapter presents case studies on the use of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) in real-world structural applications. It includes projects from France and China, such as the RECYBÉTON project and a 12-story building in Shanghai. The case studies highlight the design, construction, and performance of RAC in large-scale structural projects. Key findings reveal the benefits of RAC in reducing environmental impact, as well as challenges such as its lower strength compared to natural aggregates. The chapter advocates for further research and development to enhance RAC’s performance in diverse structural applications.
