Technologies for Improving North African Climate

In the context of heating Earth's atmosphere, the life of the population living in Northern Africa became more difficult than before, leading to mass migration and intensifying the local conflicts. The present paper presents some possible technologies/solutions/ actions that could improve the climate conditions by artificially humidifying North African territories. The paper proposes a solution that uses special equipment powered by solar cells for intensive humidification by spraying desalinated seawater in the air, moving naturally from the sea towards North African territories. Another proposed solution is flooding natural lakes with seawater or creating artificial lakes using the electrical power supplied by future ESA space technology. The result will be climate amelioration by soil humidification, cooling of air, and generation of natural groundwater basins. The meaning of the mentioned results is that our civilisation can now correct the climate by completing ongoing actions, such as reducing carbon dioxide emissions. This paper concludes that such technologies should reduce drought and improve life in the North African territories.
