This chapter discusses some of the playing techniques that go beyond those learned by most early-stage players. Didjeridu playing employs several such techniques including circular breathing and sounding multiphonics, and is the subject of the first section. The second and final section explores the possibilities of extending the capabilities of brass instruments using live electronics and various forms of augmentation.
