摘要
Impulse buying is an act of sudden purchasing that happens without any planning and it’s caused by an impulse or reflex. It is the primary thing that is getting more and more popular among young people. The Study is implementing the mixed-method approach including the survey of 174 respondents and the qualitative analysis of open answers. The significant findings are the ones that demonstrate what are the main impulse buying features among the youth demographic i.e., high risk-taking tendency, influenced by peer pressure and inner satisfaction. The research points out that technology and online channels, like mobile apps and social media, can act as powerful downstream forces pushing the youth towards impulse buying. The study of the connection between impulse buying frequency and financial hardship shows a significant yet quite small positive correlation. The study finally sums up by offering useful insights on impulse buying behaviors and a broader discussion of consumer behavior, paving the way for in-depth exploration of the changing scheme of consumer decision-making mechanisms and the necessary personalized tactics to go ahead with the hurdles caused due to impulsive buying behaviors.
