摘要
Job satisfaction is the major factor among employees which determines the tenure of employees in an organization, increasing the interest on performance of job, providing healthy relationship between employer and employees, increasing the personal attachment towards company and so on. Organizations are taking various financial and non financial motivations to increase the job satisfaction among employees. Since human beings are social animal, they continuously require motivation, recognitions, and appreciations from other human beings to perform well in their tasks. Finding the variables influencing women’s job satisfaction among IT workers is the study’s primary goal. Two hundred women who work in different IT fields in Thiruvananthapuram have been selected by the researcher. The data were collected by using a structured questionnaire, and the findings were analysed using statistical techniques like multiple regression analysis, chi square testing, Karl Pearson correlation, and t-test. Women are drawn to their jobs primarily because they are flexible, and they are not as satisfied with their jobs as men are. In this study, “job satisfaction” is the dependent variable. Work-Family conflict, Family-Work Conflict, Hindrance, Caring Responsibility and work stress are considered as independent variables and analysed using multiple regression analysis to know the correlation and cause and effect.
