Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) has been widely applied in various fields, but its influence on online stock trading behavior remains underexplored. Prior studies have not fully addressed how Perceived Behavioural Control, Subjective Norms, Attitudes affects trading decisions within the framework of digital platforms, social media and real-time information. This research examines the applicability of TPB (Theory of Planned Behaviour) in predicting online stock trading behavior. This research uniquely combines the Theory of Planned Behaviour with the transformative emphasizing how investors’ attitudes, perceived behavioral control and subjective norms influence online stock trading behavior in a technology-driven landscape. It highlights the critical role of technological and financial literacy in fostering greater investor engagement and effective portfolio management worldwide.
