The economic development paths of China, South Korea, Japan, and India are examined in this research from 1961 to 2023, with particular attention paid to the stability and volatility of their GDPs following independence. Employing econometric instruments such as the Jarque–Bera Test and the Augmented-Dickey Fuller Test, the study discloses unique growth trends that are impacted by trade agreements, internal and external crises, and strategic economic strategies. While India’s potential is derived from its expanding population and workforce, China’s quick development is credited to investments in infrastructure, low-cost labour, and exports. Demographic issues caused Japan’s early economic boom to stagnate, but South Korea’s success is attributed to its “chaebol” economy.

摘要
