An artform is always considered a carrier of cultural heritage in Indian context, as it represents a rich tradition of India, which is known for its diversity in languages, cultures and also the art forms. Rather than glorifying this statement of art as a symbolic entity, this paper projects the potential of art as a powerful medium of advocating sustainability. The recent developments in dance, music and art space have demonstrated that the sustainable practices are incorporated by artists who are keen about introducing budget friendly, recycled, durable products as well as creative art/dance/music productions. This study emphasizes the need for adapting such sustainable practices for a smooth functioning of artistic and general spaces which are always interconnected and identical.
