Sustainability Practices in Bajawa Coffee Cultivation: A Case Study in Beiwali and Wajamala Villages, Ngada Regency
摘要
Flores Bajawa Arabica Coffee is one of five typical Indonesian coffees that has received Geographical Indication Certification from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The development of coffee tourism in Bajawa is one of the impacts of increasing tourism on Flores Island. However, the development of coffee tourism in Bajawa as a tourist destination still needs to be supported by increasing the 4A components (attractions, amenities, Accessibility, and ancillaries) to increase tourist attraction. This research aims to analyze Bajawa coffee tourism from the 4A aspects to realize sustainable tourism in Bajawa, East Nusa Tenggara. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies in Beiwali and Wajamala Villages, Ngada Regency destinations. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations at study locations, and analysis of secondary documents. The analysis technique uses the theme analysis method. The study results show that there are prototypes for developing coffee tourism in two tourist attractions, namely coffee tourism in Beiwali and Wajamala. This prototype can be used as a model by other coffee tourism companies in Bajawa, and it can support the development of sustainable coffee tourism by studying the 4A components. These findings are expected to be useful for managers and the government in developing sustainable coffee tourism, as well as increasing the attractiveness of Bajawa coffee tourism in the eyes of domestic and international tourists.
