Wastewater Treatment Process
摘要
Wastewater refers to water that has been contaminated by various effluents originating from human activities, including domestic, agricultural, and industrial wastes, as well as stormwater and surface runoff. It is alarming to note that half of the world’s population is exposed to wastewater and its detrimental effects. Not only does it pose a danger to public health, but it also wreaks havoc on the environment. Shockingly, around 80% of untreated wastewater flows into the environment worldwide, polluting natural ecosystems. The nitrogen and phosphorus present in wastewater disrupts aquatic life and causes significant damage.
