Applying Hyperledger Fabric to a Credit Transfer Process – A Case Study
摘要
In recent years, blockchain technology has evolved by leaps and bounds, and its applicability in various sectors has increased. Since its inception, the financial sector has been the preferred field of application. Blockchain technology can be applied to other sectors, and in the field of education, its applicability has been based on the issuance of study certifications and diplomas. The characteristics that blockchain technology offers could be leveraged to explore other scenarios within the field of education beyond certificate issuance. In the educational sector, the academic offerings are increasing, and the credit transfer or study equivalence process is complex. The process involves personalized verification and authentication due to the lack of a standardized procedure. The issuance of documents is not as transparent and verifiable. Therefore, false documentation can be created. Blockchain technology offers mechanisms to authenticate the document verification process and could be a valuable tool to address the issues present in the credit transfer or study equivalence process.
