摘要
This chapter presents the findings from data collected through productive and receptive tests, conducted at three time intervals (pre-, post-, and delayed post-tests). Quantitative and qualitative analyses of the accrued data reveal progress in participants’ ability to produce target speech acts. Findings indicate that both the TBLT and PPP instructional approaches significantly improved participants’ pragmatic competence compared to the control group. However, there was no statistically significant difference between the performance of the TBLT and PPP groups in the post-test and delayed post-test.
