The background has provided valued understandings into competitive advantage ever since Michael Porter introduced the concept of value chain in 1985. This paper gives an original view by integrating Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) and MICMAC (Matrice d’ Impacts Croises Multiplication Appliquee a un Classment methodologies to analyse workable practices with in the value chain. The purpose of the study is to create a model that categorises and evaluate the interconnectedness among sustainable key variables. The ISM technique is used to develop a classifies construction viewing how these variables move and depend on each other in the value chain. MICMAC study further orders these variables based on their influence and necessity, offering a calculated viewpoint on their role in nurturing sustainability. The results showed that traditional value chain reflect efficiency and cost effectiveness, a sustainability focussed approach requires a thorough analysis of how various factors contribute to and support green practices. The study accomplishes with an argument of the implications of the ISM and MICMAC analysis for value chain management and suggests future research directions to further develop and refine integrated frameworks for sustainability.
