The Hospital industry is experiencing a digital transition with an emphasis on sustainability, supply chain, and regulatory compliance. This study explores the impact of Compliance with Healthcare Regulations, organisational commitment to sustainability, supply chain collaboration, technological information particularly human-centric competence in supply chain management on ‘circular supply chain performance’ (CSCP). The questions of the research were explored from lens of ‘Resource Dependency Theory, Stakeholder Theory, Theory of planned behaviour, Resource based view theory, Diffusion of Innovations Theory’. Quantitative approach was adopted, and the required data was collected from 150 managers working in 200 bed multi-speciality hospitals. The gathered data was examined by utilising ‘Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling’ (PLS-SEM) to test hypotheses and relationships among variables. It was found that Compliance with Healthcare Regulations, organisational commitment to sustainability does not have direct significance on CSCP. But Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC), technological information and Human-centric competence in circular supply chain management has a significant factor in shaping Circular supply chain performance. Further it was revealed that SCC, technological information has strong indirect influence on CSCP through the mediation of human-centric competence in circular supply chain management. Hospital industries can enhance further by implementing of compliance with regulations, training the various department in the hospital and supporting the management’s commitment to the concept of sustainability, engaging the suppliers and nurturing the partnership, advancing the adoption of technology and supporting the hospital staff to acquire adequate knowledge, skill and to achieve humanised circular Supply Chain Management.
