While implementing circular economy for supply chain management, operational efficiency becomes a major factor that affects the aeronautics firms that seek to reduce their wastage levels. This chapter focuses on the assessment of operating flows of aeronautic companies and uses both the Oliver Wight methodology and set of lean tools in the circular supply chain perspective. Through applying the principles of circular economy it is possible to evaluate current operational states against the intended objectives; this is achieved with the help of lean tools like Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban to point out the opportunities for improvement. The research builds knowledge regarding the match between sustainability operation strategies and supply chain excellence, as it is proven that having an integrated framework of practices is necessary. This chapter includes viable and specific prescriptions with recommendations for aeronautic organizations that seek to improve the applicability of circular supply chain techniques.
