The mechanisms of gamma irradiation effect on the structure and properties of metals and alloys are considered. The main mechanisms of irradiation effect that affect the wear resistance of the material are identified. The results of testing samples for electrical resistance, hardness and wear resistance before and after radiation modification are presented. The possibility of increasing the wear resistance of tools made of hard alloy materials using gamma irradiation during turning by cutting is shown.

摘要

The mechanisms of gamma irradiation effect on the structure and properties of metals and alloys are considered. The main mechanisms of irradiation effect that affect the wear resistance of the material are identified.
