This chapter deals with green adsorbents for wastewater treatment. It covers principal, types of adsorbents, green absorbents, as well as green synthesis of metal and carbon-based nanoparticles. This chapter aims to shed light on the role of green adsorbents derived from nanotechnology in wastewater treatment. Applications of nanomaterials in wastewater treatment are also discussed.
