In addition to infrastructure, human resources management play an important role in organizations, directly impacting competitive advantage and business sustainability. Green human resource management (GHRM) not only helps achieve the goals of both employees and the organization but also enables enterprises to implement and adjust strategies related to the environment. In the current context, sustainable performance is receiving considerable attention from enterprises. Therefore, the link between Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) and sustainable performance is strongly emphasized across diverse contexts. This study aims to examine the impact of GHRM practices on sustainable performance in the hospitality industry. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was applied in this research, and random samples from management professionals were derived from Vietnam’s lodging industry. The results showed that GHRM practices and sustainable performance are implemented moderately in the hospitality industry. Moreover, the findings confirmed that each element of GHRM positively influences sustainable performance. This study comprehensively provides an understanding of GHRM practices and sustainable performance within Vietnam’s hospitality sector. Furthermore, the study presents a guideline for hospitality managers on how to use GHRM practices to boost sustainable performance.
