Distribution and Location of Uranium Deposits in Mongolia
摘要
The study of the distribution of natural radioactive elements (NREs) in the geological structures of Mongolia in the twentieth century was conducted by teams of the Mongolian Geological Survey Expedition (MGSE), the All-Union Scientific Research Geological Institute (VSEGEI), the State Enterprise Sosnovgeologiya, the All-Union Institute of Exploration Geophysics (VIRG-Rudgeofizika, currently FGU NPP Geological Exploration), the All-Union Institute of Mineral Resources (VIMS), and other organizations. The purpose of the studies was to assess the uranium content of Mongolia. Information about the distribution of radioactive elements in various geological settings throughout Mongolia is given in the works of Yu. M. Vladimirsky, G. A. Shatkova, Yu. M. Shuvalov, and other researchers ( Visokoostrovskaya et al. 2007).
